#14 Mandalorian Warriors (4-9) def #16 P-Funk All Stars (3-10), 48.5 - 38.5
In the year of our Baby Yoda, it was only fitting that Matt’s Mandalorian Warriors entered their first Toilet Bowl finals and then took next year’s number one overall pick from P Funk. Along the way, they upset Cameltoe and Bamfers, an impressive feat for the fourteenth power ranked team.
It’s been a long road back to respectability for Mandalorian. Since their 2013 title, the Warriors have gone 27-49-2 (0.355) and recent years have produced four, two, and then four wins again. Of course, all of this has been by design, as the Warriors have been busy acquiring multiple early round picks for the 2022 season and on. Without a full tally, we believe they have something like six RD1 in 2022 and then three in 2023.
It wasn’t exactly a stellar Toilet Bowl, but Baker Mayfield and Rex Burkhead led the way for Mandalorian, taking down Adrian Peterson and the Not Quite All Stars. AP is still around? Seriously? For P Funk, coming up empty in their first Toilet Bowl finals is a bit disappointing, but after three straight years of being the lowest ranked team — two wins in 2017, one in 2018, three this year — it has to be at least a bit of joy knowing they were capable of some major upsets along the way.
Congrats to the Warriors and we’re excited to see what the future holds for this team! Let's hope it's brighter than the mid-episodes of the Disney+ show!

Toilet Bowl IV
#4 Italian Stallionz (5-8) def #2 Hungry Hungry Ouroboros (6-7), 110-93
After eliminating top seeded Fockers last week, Italian Stallionz set their sights on another upset in the Toilet Bowl finals and got a tougher matchup this time. Coming from behind, Stallionz really poured it on with Chris Carson and Tyreek Hill late — combined 33 points — to insure the victory as Hungry Hungry Ouroboros failed to sub out an injured Todd Gurley in time. Not that it would have mattered, because Aaron Rodgers’ 42 points gave Stallionz the likely win and then Carson/Hill took it home down the stretch.
It didn’t look good for Stallionz heading into the Toilet Bowl, as they had scored under 55+ in WK12-13, but they righted the ship at just the right time and put up 91.0, 80.5, and then 110.0 points to take the consolation tournament. We noted that Stallionz were lacking a run game all season but then Chris Carson caught fire with 15, 22, and 23 points for the past three weeks, solidifying his chances next year as an important keeper. Add on another (likely) young runner in 2019's draft and Stallionz should hopefully find themselves back in the playoffs. And let’s not forget tight end Chris Herndon, who produced seventeen points in the victory, saving his best effort for the last game of the fantasy season.
So for Porta, this is his first Toilet Bowl win and represents a high point after four years of losing records. Last year’s Toilet Bowl winner, Grrrrific, went on to lead the league in regular season wins, so maybe this consolation win will catapult Stallionz to similar results next season. Congratulazioni Italian Stallionz, and to a bright future ahead! Arrivederci!
As for the losers, Hungry Hungry Ouroboros had a fine chance to win their second Toilet Bowl but even with Joe Mixon inserted for Gurley, no win was going to come. At least that Jaguars defense, one of Ouroboros’ 2018 keepers, came through with 17 big points in a losing effort. Um, good job?

Playoffs & Toilet Bowl 2018: RD2
In what is likely a first, no higher seed was toppled in either the playoffs or Toilet Bowl. Pretty boring right? The good news is we'll get to see our best teams go at it for the right to showdown in the Super Bowl!
Eastern Conference Finals, RD2Just so it's clear, I updated the rules to say "Toilet Bowl is not conference exclusive, so we re-seed #9-16 regardless of conference. However, we keep the same matchups regardless of upsets, and don't re-shuffle each round. Ex) If #16 seed upsets #9 in RD1, they don't have to face #10 in RD2."
Western Conference Finals, RD2
- #1 100 Acre Wood Pooh Bears (9-3-1) vs #2 Squirtle Squad (9-4)
- #1 Team Grrrrrific (11-2) vs #2 MoRRie’s Pogiboys (10-3)
Toilet Bowl RD2
- #1 Fockers (7-5) vs #4 Italian Stallionz (5-8)
- #2 Hungry Hungry Ouroboros (6-7) vs #3 Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada (6-7)

Toilet Bowl 2018: RD1
#1 Fockers (7-5) vs #8 P Funk All Stars (1-12)
Another winning record, another year in the Toilet Bowl. That makes two seasons in a row that Fockers have landed out of the postseason despite a good enough regular season. Heck, they won their 2016 title on the strength of a 7-6 record! A victim of a particularly strong Eastern conference did what they could but came down the stretch run with a 0-2-1 record and that pushed them out. The good news is that this team really could use a high draft pick, as the bottom fell out this year aside from all-world Davante Adams catching passes from Ben Roethlisberger and Andrew Luck. With Le’Veon Bell a season long no-show and Matt Breida getting injured the past month, the Fockers run game is in shambles. As the top seed in the Toilet Bowl, Fockers will hope to pilot themselves to a #1 overall pick.
Luckily, a first round win seems likely as Fockers will face off against one-win P Funk, who is almost aggressively tanking yet another season. Injuries were an issue for this team — Marshawn Lynch, Cooper Kupp, and Martavis Bryant all end the season on IR — but there were numerous examples of players who were in the lineup and unable to play. Add in plenty of mismanagement by Paolo over the bye weeks, and it’s surprising this team even got one victory. Averaging just 61.3 per game, it would seem a minor miracle if P Funk pulled off an upset here. Could the fans be clamoring for new ownership?!
#2 Hungry Hungry Ouroboros (6-7) vs #7 Mandalorian Warriors (2-11)
Ouroboros slipped their way into the playoffs last season and made some noise but it looks like a return to the playoffs won’t be in the cards for this long inept franchise. Despite owning the best fantasy player in the universe, Todd Gurley, Ouroboros couldn’t pull out one win their last month of games and will enter the Toilet Bowl as a deflated high seed. The pre-draft trade for 2018 1.5, Calvin Ridley, worked out well but after that there was almost no other successes to speak of aside from Gurley and Ridley -- and arguably a fleet of young-ish backs. I guess it’s back to the bottom for this team that made a surprise Super Bowl run last season.
Who’s the most intriguing team in Maize and Blue right now? May we present the 2020+ Mandalorian Warriors?! By our count, Mandalorian has engaged in eight trades this season, mostly of the player for future draft pick variety. GM Matt is going for a full on rebuild and dynasty build by shipping off any player that is remotely productive now for future prospects. After going 1-11 all season, it was a bit of a shock to see Warriors pick up a win in WK13, after the entire roster had been stripped for parts all year long. The bench features seven players on IR/Out and the “star” here is Jameis Winston. This is the greatest long term planning in MnB history and we’re excited to see where it ends up, if Warriors can pick up another title before the 2022 season!
#3 Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada (6-7) vs #6 Jedi Knights (4-9)
Hey, six wins means Xur eclipsed their win total from the last two seasons combined! No more "worst record in the league!" Combine the emergence of sophomores Christian McCaffrey and Kenny Golladay, plus a breakout season from Jared Cook, and the Armada is trending up. Heck, even Mike's gamble for 2018 1.3 Josh Gordon mostly worked out as the repeat offender found himself in a great new situation. So while the high end for Xur is still not quite there yet, finishing strong with a 2-1 end to the regular season gives this fan base some hope, which is more than they had in recent years.
As for Jedi, it’s official: they suck. After three straight years of four wins, five wins, and four wins, this once contending franchise is on the ropes. A 3-2 start this year devolved into a 1-7 finish and facing the second-toughest PA in the league didn’t help Jedis much, as opponents scored 91.9 points per game against them. To add insult to injury, their leading scorer this season, Emmanuel Sanders, just torn his ACL in practice. Oh but there is good news here, as GM Chris has unearthed the young quarterback combo of Mitchell Trubisky and Lamar Jackson, and one of them should replace Tom Brady, who was a disappointment this year after being acquired for future picks pre-draft. The real gem this season has been Phillip Lindsay, as the Bronco evolved into one of the top rookie runners -- Chris moved two future firsts for Lindsay back in October. With a few more savvy moves, Jedi could be back on top soon despite their recent dry spell.
#4 Italian Stallionz (5-8) vs #5 Another Bad Creation (4-9)
These Stallionz are stuck in a quagmire as they’ve failed to top 0.500 in four consecutive seasons. Five wins is better than last year’s four but that’s incremental progress at best. A WK3-WK6 losing streak did this team in and Porta’s team whimpered down the end with 47.5 and 55 points scored to close the regular season. There should be some juice in the Aaron Rodgers to Tyreek Hill combination but a mostly struggling run game has been this team’s Achilles heel as they’ve rotated through Tevin Coleman, Chris Carson, now injured Alex Collins (drafted RD1.4), Austin Ekeler, Doug Martin, and Jamaal Williams. We hope Stallionz can make some noise in the Toilet Bowl because a nice young runner could really help this team get out of the cellar.
The defending Knights Who Say Ni division champs took a fall this season after tying for the most wins in MnB last year. 96.2 PA is what happened! While ABC put up a respectable 96.5 PF, they just couldn’t find much consistency all season as they boom and busted all over the place. There were injuries to be sure, mostly notably Leonard Fournette for most of the season. Without him, and with rookie Kerryon Johnson barely used, there was no ground game to speak of this year. The good news is, when ABC is on, they can cook. With Fournette back off one-game suspension, there is an impressive passing attack of Kirk Cousins, Michael Thomas, Brandin Cooks, newly revived Amari Cooper (acquired mid-season for Greg Kittle), Stefon Diggs, and Jordan Reed. During the last seven weeks, Oliver’s team has only dipped below 87.5 PF once, and we think they’re the dark horse to take the Toilet Bowl if they can string some consistent games together.

Toilet Bowl III
#5 Team Grrrrific (4-9) vs #7 Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada
Despite some confusion about Toilet Bowl seedings, the right two teams made it to the finals: Donny’s Team Grrrrific and Mike’s Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada. Both teams had pulled off big upsets on the way to the consolation final game, but only one team had some experience here, as Mike’s squad had been to the two previous Toilet Bowl finals as well. In fact, Mike’s teams — previously Shoguns of Harlem — have been to every Toilet Bowl finals in Maize and Blue history! Alas, they haven’t actually won anything yet. Unfortunately for them, this year was no different as they lost to new owner Donny in a pretty one-sided way. (Should the two Toilet Bowl finalists get #1 and #2 overall picks the next year? I say “yes” but that’s a matter for another day…)
As for Team Grrrrific, it’s been a great year for them. After inheriting the worst team (ever?) on paper, Donny worked hard to give his team the veneer of respectability and outdid himself in every way. Breakout rookie and mid-draft trade acquisition Kareem Hunt returned to elite status just in time for the Toilet Bowl run, and Hunt led the way with 18 points for the TB finals. Jamison Crowder, Tyrod Taylor, and Jay Ajayi were also trade acquisitions this year, and combined they were the four highest scoring players for Grrrrific in Toilet Bowl III. Donny literally razed a salty franchise and then rebuilt toward a sweet Toilet Bowl win and the #1 overall pick in next year’s draft. While fellow new owner Dave / Stink Pink Gators may have the gaudy 9-4 record in his rookie year, we’re thrilled about Team Grrrrific’s future heading forward! Great job and congrats to a fantastic first year in Maize and Blue!
As for Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada, three straight almost-Toilet Bowl wins is nice but with nothing to show for it, they’ll have to rest easy with the thought that at least they’ll have another high pick coming next year — #3 overall — and that this year’s #2 overall, Christian McCaffrey, looks like the real deal. With just five wins in two years, this squad really needs some help to get back to 0.500.

Playoffs & Toilet Bowl 2017: RD2
Both #1 seeds from the two conferences went down, and with a thrilling #2 vs #3 match in the Eastern Conference that resulted in a one point win by the higher seeded Sweep the Leg. Let’s see who’s headed to the Super Bowl!
WESTERN CONFERENCE
• #2 MoRRie’s Pogiboys (9-4) vs #4 Hungry Hungry Ouroboros (7-6)
EASTERN CONFERENCEAs for the Toilet Bowl, we had three upsets, with only top seeded Fockers surviving against underdogs. Farewell (consolation) champagne for Team Cameltoe, Jedi Knights, and Mandalorian Warriors, it looks like Fockers could have a clear path to a top pick!
• #2 Sweep the Leg Zabkha (9-3-1) vs #4 Squirtle Squad (8-5)
• #1 Fockers (7-6) vs #7 Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada (2-11)
• #5 Team Grrrrific (4-9) vs #6 Italian Stallionz (4-9)

Toilet Bowl 2017: RD1
#1 Fockers (7-6) vs #8 P Funk All Stars (2-11)The defending champs got booted from a proper title defense on the last day of the regular season. Longtime franchise quarterback, Andrew Luck, was a no show all season and the roller coaster of Carson Palmer, Josh McCown, and Ryan Fitzpatrick doomed this team to a Toilet Bowl berth. Still, Fockers have a winning record and are poised to win the whole damn thing, which would be a nice consolidation prize.
After a surprise playoff showing last season, P Funk showed that their 9-4 2016 record was a fluke, as they sunk back to familiar 2-11 form — four of their last six seasons have ended up with only two wins. Of course, one of their two wins this season was a WK9 win versus Fockers so there’s an outside chance at a Toilet Bowl upset here... Note: We're not sure why P Funk gave up on Amari Cooper so fast, but GM Paolo must have a plan in mind!
#2 Team Cameltoe (6-7) vs #7 Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada (2-11)
As the only Big House division team to not make the playoffs, Team Cameltoe would love a long Toilet Bowl run to show their fans that they’re progressing past some up and down seasons. Russell Wilson and Julio Jones are a top flight QB-WR connection and a top draft pick would really help Cameltoe re-establish their ground game. Cross your fingers for some Cameltoe magic!
It’s now just five total wins in two seasons for Mike’s team, and here’s hoping that trend reverses. Rookie Christian McCaffrey has been a bright spot as the year moved on but an 0-7 start to the season followed by four straight losses to end have Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada looking to escape pod out of 2017 and toward next season.
#3 Jedi Knights (5-8) vs #6 Italian Stallionz (4-9)The once powerful Jedi are officially weak and scattered throughout the universe. We thought last year’s 4-9 record was an aberration after four straight post-season showings, but Jedi are officially off the map as contenders. Given their massive PF-PA disparity (793 PA vs 1015 PA) this season, it’s actually impressive Chris piloted this team to five wins.
It’s now three straight seasons in the Toilet Bowl for Stallionz -- and they were the top seed last year -- and their fans are pretty fed up. A tough last month of games sunk Porta’s squad to bottom — not to mention the loss of Aaron Rodgers just as he was traded for, and a plethora of other injuries. Tyreek Hill led this team in points scored, which was good and bad, as Hill was spectacular but often boom-or-bust. Can Stallionz get a Toilet Bowl win to redeem their season after trading away Devonta Freeman for a slew of picks?
#4 Mandalorian Warriors (4-8-1) vs #5 Team Grrrrific (4-9)
Speaking of teams that were once great but now are suffering, Mandalorian Warriors were once the toast of the league but have gone from two six win seasons in 2015-6 to only four wins this year — including a 1-7 record to end the season. Their title from 2012 seems far away doesn’t it? Of course, GM Matt has been proactive about moving veterans for draft picks — farewell Aaron Rodgers and Larry Fitzgerald — and a rebuild could be quick if some luck and Toilet Bowl success is in their future.
Donny inherited one of the most inept situations in the league for his rookie season and basically tread water with a 4-9 record but we have to look at their non-record wins here. The trade for Kareem Hunt was a success, even if Hunt tailed off dramatically, and there’s a good chance that three of their other trade acquisitions, Jamison Crowder, Jay Ajayi, and Marcus Mariota, will stick around for upside potential. A long rebuild is likely ahead for Team Grrrrific but Donny can afford to be patient as he continues to make young orientated trades.

Toilet Bowl II
#14 Hungry Hungry Ouroboros (4-9) vs #16 Shoguns of Harlem (3-10)
In an unexpected romp, Hungry Hungry Ouroboros finally won something in this league, a Toilet Bowl! With two low seeds in the Toilet Bowl Finals, we knew someone in need would emerge with a #1 overall pick — and the second place finisher would get nothing. With another 200+ yard day from Jay Ajayi, and a huge outing by Cameron Meredith, Ouroboros saved their best game of the year for their biggest game of the year, putting up 112 points to defeat Shoguns of Harlem by more than fifty points — and had two players put up zeros to boot. It's been a lost season for Ouroboros, but they had Matt Ryan piloting them the whole way, and now can go home with something in hand. Now they’ll look forward to figuring out with college player to draft next year. Should GM Jon take Gabriel Peppers?!
Shoguns had been solid all Toilet Bowl playoffs, but they misfired during the finals and only had Alshon Jeffery and Justin Tucker go over double digits by Sunday night, and Matt Stafford wasn’t going to make up 60+ points by himself, so this game was all but decided by MNF. Overall, it was a nice run by Mike’s team, but he’ll have to settle for getting the second overall pick either way, as Shoguns were the lowest seed entering this tournament and the only way to improve their draft position would have been to win the Toilet Bowl. Note: Shoguns were the top seed in last year’s Toilet Bowl, but lost in the finals to 100AW Pooh Bears. So should they hope for a third shot at a consolation win? Or can they make it into the playoffs next year?

Toilet Bowl Matchups 2016
Last year, 100 Wood Pooh Bears won our first ever Toilet Bowl, and drafted Ezekiel Elliot, and now they're the number seed in the playoffs. Coincidence?! I think not. So who will be the lucky winner of our Toilet Bowl II? Let's find out!
#9 Italion Stallionz (6-7) vs #16 Shoguns of Harlem (3-10)
After finishing one game out of a playoff spot, Stallionz is the favorite to win the Toilet Bowl. Unfortunately, they have a better away versus home record this season and host the last place Shoguns. The good news is they have Marcus Mariota, a surging Devonta Freeman, and emergent Tyreek Hill on their side. If the Shoguns are going to pull an upset after recording the fewest wins in MnB this year, they’ll need more than just Matthew Stafford to lead them there. After a seven game winning streak, they got a nice win in WK13 versus a winning team, but can they do it again in the Toilet Bowl?
#10 Mandalorian Warriors (6-7) vs #15 Original Salt (4-9)
Another home field advantage team who had a horrible home record. The Warriors accrued only one home win season, so while they have the “advantage” in their first Toilet Bowl appearance, they are spiraling downward, having lost four of their last five games. Warriors will need big weeks from Aaron Rodgers, DeMarco Murray, and Julian Edelman to stay afloat. Call it a grudge match, but Warriors called out the Original Salt franchise mid-season for mismanagement so this will be a good chance for coach Reno to punch back. Then again, with a league low average of 66.9 points per game, Salt isn’t exactly a powerhouse despite going 3-2 down the stretch…
#11 Team Cameltoe (5-8) vs #14 Hungry Hungry Ouroboros (4-9)
An even 4-5 start gave way to 1-3 down the stretch, leaving Cameltoe out of the playoffs. They are the rare Toilet Bowl team to have a positive PF/PA breakdown, and have the three J’s — Julio Jones, Jordy Nelson, Jordan Howard — ready to grab a victory. And it’s not like Hungry Ouroboros can put up much of a challenge, as they’ve found it hard to find consistency with five players hitting IR this season and only the happy lights of Matt Ryan and Dak Prescott to lead the way. Also, you can only start one QB… The only good news for Ouroboros all season has been the emergence of Rishard Matthews, who has been the #8 WR since WK5.
#12 Squirtle Squad (4-9) vs #13 Jedi Knights (4-9)
The Squirtleshaven’t had a winning season since 2009 and they finished 1-4 to crash near the bottom of the league yet again. [Edit: they actually went 10-2-1 last season and won The Wood division last season. Whoops!] One man can’t make a team, and even if that one man is Tom Brady, Squirtles could face an early exit if someone else doesn’t step up this week — sad face to the IR seasons by Adrian Peterson and Keenan Allen. Lum decided to welcome in Star Wars Rogue One by going 1-7 down the stretch after a 3-2 start -- at one point they were leading their division in scoring too. "This is a rebellion, isn't it? I rebel lose.” With a leaky defense and only TY Hilton providing any sort of consistency, Jedi Knights will need a huge week from Eli Manning to have a shot at victory.

Toilet Bowl I
We instituted a whole slew of new rules over the 2015 season, and one of those was the holding of a Toilet Bowl for figuring out the top pick in each year's draft. What seemed like an easy walk in the park, with every top seed advancing past the lower seed, finally flipped in the Toilet Bowl Finals, as Pooh Bears defeated Shoguns of Harlem by a narrow margin. A spirited comeback by Shoguns on MNF fell a little short and it looks like our champs from two years ago will get to pick #1 in the 2016 draft.
For Jose and Jayvee, whose team stumbled out of the gates 1-5, but managed to go 5-2 down the stretch, along with this Toilet Bowl win, will hopefully get them back into contention next year. They'll have Cam Newton, Antonio Brown, Brandin Cooks (2014's #1 overall), and David Johnson to lead the way and build upon their top keeper core from last year. In fact, it was Johnson and Cooks who almost single/duo-handedly won the Toilet Bowl themselves, combining for 40.0 points. So, congrats to 100 Acre Wood Pooh Bears and we're excited to see who they select next season!
As for Shoguns of Harlem, Mike's team it a good go but their list of walking wounded was just too much to overcome. For the Toilet Bowl championship game, Tony Romo, Alshon Jeffery, Tyler Eifert, Thomas Rawls, and Arian Foster (among others) were all sitting on the bench in various states of disrepair. So taking that into account, making the TB Finals after a 0-4 start was a good accomplishment for their season.
